Kaylee slowly nodded: "I don't think Marek is controlling Dakova either. If he controlled Dakova, he could have ordered him to pull Artemis troops out of Nyx, or make Dakova commit suicide.

I don't think Marek want's us to get caught either. Look at the news, look at what's happening.
The entire world is searching for us. We are the focus of everyone's attention.
And while all eyes are looking at us, Marek is free to continue his plans from the shadows.

No one even knows he's involved. No one is searching for him. No one is trying to stop him.
We have become his diversion, his distraction, a scapegoat. And while the entire world is hunting for us, Marek is free to continue his plans without any hindrance.

Wrecker looking out through the window, at the partially open ceiling of the Sprawl. You could see the night sky through the openings. The helicopters were out of sight but you could clearly hear the roar of their engines.
"I don't know if Dakova's men can see us from there" he said after a moment and looked at Twilight: "The Sprawl is a compact little place, a lot of people walking around. If someone's trying to spot you from up there, I don't think he'll have any luck. Two hundred people in the Sprawl, it will be like looking for a needle in a haystack.


His laptop suddenly beeped and wrecker went back to his counter:
"Nice! Twilight, your plan worked. One of the sponsors just agreed to hire twenty mercenaries from the Sprawl, to assist in the siege. The money is being transferred as we speak"
The door to the shop slowly opened and several hulking, armed to the teeth mercenaries began to shuffle inside:
"Heard there's a job" one of them said in a gravely voice: "Someone just paid us a large coin to stick with you lot. So, what do you lads need us to do, exactly?" the mercenaries asked, looking at everyone in the room.





Kaylee waited a moment, then walked up to Firewing: "...you don't have to do this you know.." she placed a hand on Firewings shoulder: "I know we've sailed on that star ship for only a brief moment, a year ago, but I still think of you as part of my crew. As captain of the ship, I feel responsible for keeping you safe.
I don't know if I can stop you from going, but I want to ask you, one last time to reconsider. I know if we try hard enough, we can all make out of this alive-"
Her voice broke and she shook her head, then looked at you again, wiping her eyes:

"But.. should you decide to carry on with your plan... know, that I will forever be in your debt.
I will never forget you" Kaylee looked at Firewing with a trace of tears in her eyes.

"Hmmm, that's fast. I like it."

She turns to the mecenaries, looking at them while searching for the right words.

"Men! You have been gathered here for an important mission! I'm sure you have seen and heard that General Dakova is above us aiming to erradicate every living soul inside if not handed over a handful of people. Now, you can yield to his demands, but who's to say he won't abuse you from then on? Now that he knows where the Sprawl is, it will be only a matter of time before he puts a stop to it, along with medicine for the poor, your income and even the lives of those we hold dear."

"Thus! We have one option! To ensure the survival of yourself, your home, and the people depending on the items and workflow from this place... We go up there and silence these crooked cops, and put an end to Dakova's reign of terror!"

"Gather round, everyone, for we have a plan, and we need to find the correct battlegrounds for all of you."

"Okay then" Lord Wyvern says, "So to sum up; whose plan are we finally going with?".

Fire flicks her hair back and reaches down to her back. She pulls out a small book, "Kaylee... This is my book of light... This never leaves my side until now... Im passing it on to you because in this book is my chant to bring me and my brothers from the heavens... The first page is what you need to say to bring us down... Only when you really need us." She nods and steps back, "many of the spells require a sword or weapon to cast..." She closes her eyes, "if your ever outnumbered or in a position where you can't escape and time is of the essance... Summon us... We will get you down or release you... If you need to push an enemy back... Summon us..." She nods "because I haven't used it myself because I know my brothers are looking down and giving me their blessings... Well... I'm giving you this book because I want you to continue doing what I do... I want you to go and explore the world... I want you to continue this adventure... Finish it, and continue to adventure after this..." She smirks "anyway... Sommon me when you really need me..." She turns and looks to the door "this is it..."

"Good luck Fire" Tarmikos finally speaks up "Give those assholes what they deserve"

//Moon, here’s a summary of what has happened since you’ve been gone

Since you’ve been gone Artemis found the group via tracking devices placed inside of Radiance and Fire. Artemis forces have surrounded the Sprawl and helicopters are circling above. Dakova at this moment is giving the party a total of five minutes to surrender or else he is going to burn down the entire Sprawl. Radiance, unfortunately and foolishly, had Dr. Riza remove one of the tracking devices and the entire hospital exploded. Both him and the doctor are still alive.

Meanwhile the rest of the group is discussing the best possible action for saving both their own lives and those of the Sprawl. Fire is intent on sacrificing herself to save the party. Through Kaylee’s suggestion and Twilight’s way with words roughly 20 mercenaries have been hired.

The current working plan is to have the group fein surrender then have the newly hired mercenaries flank the Artemis forces. If all goes to plan Dakova along with a large portion of the Artemis fleet will be killed. As a contingency plan Fire plans to use the device in her stomach to finish the job if the plan with the mercenary fails.

"So, we all ready to kick some butt?" Moon smiled and looked at them all.

The mercenaries slowly shuffled inside and stood in a half circle around you:
"Just give the word, where do you need us ma'am?" One of them asked Twilight.


Kaylee gingerly took the book from Firewing and nodded: "...I will cherish it"


As you look through the shops window, you notice a lot less people outside. Most of the crowd seems to be dispersing and disappearing from sight.
Wrecker sighed: "... I knew it. Dakova doesn't have all the exits from the Sprawl covered. We have hidden passages that lead to the sewers, only we know about them and it looks like Dakova didn't have enough time to scout the entire underground area.

Looks like most mercenaries started to bolt. Even if we win this battle, the location of the Sprawl is still known to Artemis. There's nothing to stop them from coming back here with a larger force next time.
The Sprawl is lost. Looks like everyone's evacuating. The problem is, there won't be enough time to evacuate everyone-"

"ATTENTION! YOU HAVE EXACTLY ONE MINUTE LEFT TO SURRDENER" Dakova's voice boomed across the Sprawl: "IF I WILL RECEIVE NO RESPONCE WITHIN THE NEXT MINUTE, I WILL SET FIRE TO THE SPRAWL WITHOUT WARNING. YOUR TIME IS RUNNING OUT"


Kaylee looked at Twilight and nervously exhaled: "What's the plan, Twilight?"

Fire looks back "Fuck it we don't have time..." She shakes her head "you big guys... If you know any nearby route take the group to it... Get them outside sprawl... Anywhere but in here..." She takes a deep breath and leaves. She looks up at the choppers dropping all her weapons.

"So to answer my own question then..." Lord Wyvern muses "... We're going with some sort of amalgamation of everyponies' plans".

"Hmmm... It's not easy to do, but... Two of you will drag Firewing up there as a prisoner. I doubt he'll put question marks to the act, seeing as playing to your desire for survival. After making somewhat of an escape, at least for the radius, She'll set it off, if possible. My biggest concern is... Should someone go with her? I mean, it's likely they tie her up, and it would a little more convincing..."

She looks down. "But who's crazy enough?"

"Do we even know if they can be triggered by the carriers?" Lord Wyvern asked, "Radiance's tracker was detonated after they surgically removed it...".

"It's not easy, but it is possible. All you have to do is trigger the mechanism that sets it off. But, if you're unsure... You can go along to detonate the bomb to be sure."

She turns to the group.
"As for the rest, we head to some exits, but don't enter yet. What happens after her actions dictate what we do next. Also, depending on how he attacks from above, it's possible to return or delay fire."

"We can't loose anyone else tonight!" Kaylee said in a shaking voice: "Its too much!.. We can't ask another person to sacrifice himself"


Two of the mercenaries nodded and walked out of the shop, towards Firewing. They slowly approached her and nodded:
"We'll pretend to escort you outside. Once the Artemis forces take you into custody, we will be leaving... good luck in your mission"
One of them waved you toward a distant door, built into the wall of this place. It looks like the same door you used to enter the Sprawl:
"This way" one of them said, motioned you toward the door.




Wrecker got up and waved everyone to follow: "Alright lads, we better get moving!" He left the shop and headed in the same direction as most of the crowd in the Sprawl.
Most here seem to be walking toward an old warehouse building. The large doors to it, seem to be open. And through the opening, you can see a large hatch in the ground.
Everyone seems to be heading toward it and climbing down to somewhere unseen.

"This leads directly into the sewer system" Wrecker called over the racket of the chattering crowd: "Some of the old sewer tunnels collapsed and were left unused for years, most don't even know about them.
Even if Dakova knows, he sure as hell didn't have enough time to send his men down there. He was forced to mobilize way too quickly"


As you near the hatch in the ground, you notice a large crowd of people, still inside the Sprawl.
Kaylee uneasily frowned: "....there's no way we can evacuate everyone in time.."

"Then we just have to make sure we evacuate as many as possible" Lord Wyvern replies to Kaylee as he looks down the hatch to examine the sewers.

Radiance could feel Kaylee's unrest "Maybe...we both use our the air currents created from our wings along with an ice spell in order create a flash freeze. The cold blast may infact freeze the mechanisms holding the bombs causing them to blow up while attached to the helicopters. And if that doesn't work the cold will make it harder for the fire to spread and give evacuation more time"

"Too risky" Kaylee shook her head: "The helicopters are circling above somewhere. We'll have to be relatively close to fire the spell, and not give the helicopter enough time to maneuver out of the way.

Artemis assault helicopters are typically equipped with a minigun on its nose. You can bet they're expecting us to pull something. So if I were them, I'd have every gun trained at the Sprawl.

The second we show our face and start showing hostility, is the second they'll pop more holes in us than a sieve"

"Yes, when we show hostility. But defensive actions shouldn't be wrong. Diverting bomb with wind or telekinesis shouldn't be too much of a crime, right?"

"I suppose we can try diverting an incoming missile, but if we reach a point when they'll start firing missiles at the Sprawl, then they'll want us dead either way" Kaylee said, looking up:
"I don't like this situation Twilight.. all this can spin out of control in a second.."


As the crowd continued to move toward the hatch, you notice Dr. Riza walk by. She carried a tiny backpack, still in her lab coat, half covered in ash. She looks extremely unsettled.

"I know." She looks down. "Truth is, we've lost control the moment he arrived. That's why we need to keep it at bay, or do our utter best at it so it's not completely lost!"

She looks up, then towards the mercenaries. "Those with strong telekinesis or useful ranged options, with me! The rest of you, split up and secure the safety of the refugees, be it by guiding them to exits or fighting troops that came down!"
