Witchers of Nifelheim - Part 5

Morgan's glaive slices through each of the five who target her. The weapon moving around in her is a blur of green inferno practically impossible to visually track. The parasites around who attempt to attack her are basically walking into a blender. As soon as Bastila screams her order Morgan's glaive finishes its death flourish.

"Everyone with wings, assist the others in getting above The Shimmer!" Morgan calls out "Same roof General Bastila is headed for!"

Rouge feels himself being lifted as Morgan grabs him and with a stroke of her wings launches herself up towards the roof. Tossing him, though as light as she can, hurriedly on to the roof before diving back down and helping anyone else.

Breaking herself free with more swings and a cast of fire, Twilight spread her wings and kicked off to freedom. Using her ears, she flew to Viki to pick her up.

"Viki, coming to get you!" She shouted, her arm ready to pick up her daughter.

Her plan was to fly up to safety with her daughter if she could. Unfortunately, flying with your eyes closed at someone swinging a scythe around herself is not exactly something you do with 100% certainty. Only fate would decide if Twilight was going to succeed at flying to a rooftop or if she would get slashed and land with a gaping wound in a field of ravenous parasites and shimmer.

Rogue scrabbles to stay on the roof after his abrupt landing, "A little warning next time..."
